For event photography, it’s best to use a fast shutter speed, around 1/500th of a second or faster, to freeze any movement and ensure sharp images.
Use a wide aperture, such as f/2.8 or wider, to blur the background and make your subjects stand out. For low light conditions, increase your ISO to around 800 or higher. In terms of focus, it’s a good idea to use continuous autofocus (AF-C) mode and focus on the eyes of your subjects.
It’s also important to take a variety of shots, including wide-angle shots to capture the overall atmosphere and close-ups to capture details and emotions.
Finally, make sure to move around and look for interesting angles and perspectives to add visual interest to your photos.
